Help Wanted! :)

The new house is coming together, one room at a time. I forget how foreign everything feels in a new home. It takes time to get acclimated to new surroundings, new places for belongings. I keep having to remind myself that this is not the same set up we had before, and I need to create one that works for the space we're in.

Time has slipped away from me. Between full-time motherhood, part-time work, and preparing for this inevitable move, my poor Scentsy business has been neglected. Only when I'm ready to dive back in and commit myself to the product I love, do I get the notice that I'll be canceled in 4 days if I don't reach my goal for the month. So frustrated with myself for letting it fall to the wayside.

I'm reaching out to you for help! Don't let my attempts to start anew be in vain. Want a holiday warmer to liven up your décor? In need of new Scentsy bars? I'm your gal. Let me know how I can help you find the product that fits your needs. Ask me about specials! Don't forget the Warmer of the Month, Creepy Crawly, is still 10% off.

Time to make a move

Packing while watching a 9 month old is next to impossible.

Especially when he can't take a decent nap because people (me) are making too much noise and the UPS guy ignores the "Please do not knock or ring bell" sign that is clearly on the front door. The latter causes me to write notes like this:

It's a good thing 5 pm is just around the corner and we have a big bottle of Sangria in the refrigerator.

So close to being packed up! Currently living off of paper plates and plastic cups to reduce the amount of items that need cleaning before moving it all on Saturday morning. I broke one of my favorite vases today. My sister-in-law gave it to us as a housewarming present in 2011 when we bought our first house together. I also packed up all of my Scentsy warmers and wax yesterday, which I'm currently regretting because I'm sure the smell of Pumpkin Roll would cheer me up.

But alas, soon we will be in a new house, where I will no doubt have to put up a new sign to ward off doorbell ringers, and can warm awesome scents like Cinnamon Bear to make our new house feel like home. :)

Stay cozy!

Words cannot describe how much I love Fall

Cardigans, scarves, boots, warm, cozy colors. It's the BEST time of the year.

Fall gives me an excuse to sip hot coffee all day long and wear those oversized, chunky sweaters I refuse to get rid of because they are the most comfortable items of clothing I own. Comfort foods like slow-cooker chicken and dumplings are a must. And you can't forget the apple cider! There's something about watching the leaves change colors (which is rare in Texas) that just puts people in a good mood.

We are in the process of moving to the other side of town, and I look forward to decorating our new house and taking trips to local craft stores to find deals on cute scarecrows, pumpkins, and other holiday décor.

What else goes with super cute holiday décor? The Fall smells! Cinnamon, cloves, pumpkin, vanilla, nutmeg - the list goes on and on. I really want to warm some of these scents in the adorable line of holiday warmers that Scentsy has put out this year. My favorite is probably Autumn Glow, followed by He's Alive.

I have a feeling one or two of these will proudly be displayed along with the rest of our Fall decorations this year.

What's your favorite way to welcome the cooler season?

Stay cozy!
